I have a Kicker KX800.2. Do you think that 800 watts will push 2 L5 12's? Their rms rateing is 600 and they will only get 400 apiece. Let me know what you think.

Thanks for your opinions. I don't think that I'm going to do anything right now. I just had to buy a new amp and that kind of drained the stereo fund. When I do decide to change it, can you guys give me an idea where I can get either one at a good price. Thanks for all your help.

Ok I am thinking about upgrading my system. Right now I have 2 Kicker CompVR 12's. I was thinking about either getting 2 more of them and having 4 12's. Or I was also thinking about getting 2 12" L5's. Which do you think would have better SQL? Please let me know what you think.

You can also find an empty fuse space in your fuse panal that is live all of the time, and crimp a spade terminal to your wire and stick it in the fuse space. Then run it to a fuse and switch. It saves going threw the firewall. I did it and it works great. The lights don't take much power at all...

That doesn't mean that your battery is dying. Only that your putting a strain on your electical system. Try getting a cap or you may need to buy an audio battery. It depends on how much your pulling out of the car power. I had the same problem and I bought a Stinger 1 farad cap and it helped out...
