same thing happened to me, i had a scosche 60 amp anl fuse holder w 8 ga wire, the fuse didnt pop. upgraded to a better fuse holder and bigger wire and its all good.

to whytellyou: is there a way to do that while keeping the wires inside the amp? what im picturing in my head are extra wires coming out of the amp vents going into the remote and ground on the amp on the outside? is this correct? is there any other way to make it plug into the same connecter...
