    I know how to install things. The fuse holder melted where one of the screws holds the fuse. The fuse is actually still good, but I replaced the entire holder/fuse/and battery terminal connector and she's working like new

    Would you suggest staying at a 60 amp fuse or raising it to 100???

    The setup is 2 10" kenwood subs @ 300w each (max 1000w) at 4 ohm each. Hooked up to a mono d kenwood 1000w amp The fuse is 60w And yeah I think I may have needed to tighten the nuts down a little more. I was just worried about breaking the fuse. Could the loose connection cause the insulating...

    Well my system has been running beautifully since October 22. So it's been almost three months of great sound. Then all of the sudden nothing.. The day before I had it up a little louder than usual, and I thought it might be the remote power wire coming loose but I checked all wires in the back...
