Well..... I can always add an AMP if necessary. The Pioneer DEH-P80MP has 27Watts RMS MOSFET. Maybe it will run my speakers ok. That is the model Im going with. I will post my results here. Tim

Im installing seperates in the front doors of my Mitsu EVO and 2 ways in the trunk. About how many feet of speaker wire would you guys reccomend? I live in the middle of nowhere so that's why I need a good ballpark. Also is streetwires 14GA pretty good for a fairly low power system? Thanks...

Ok.... after much debate I am going to get just the one set of components up front, with a decent set of 2 ways in the rear. Thanks to everyone for their opinions. Tim

Funny you should make that comment. I had Kicker Components in my 02 Tacoma (with 3 ways in the back) powered by the Alpine HU and they sounded GREAT. Pretty loud as well..... definately loud enough. Thanks for the input.

I just read some fairly mediocre reviews on the Polk DBs..... time to start looking again. I think I will **** it up and get Boston Acoustics.

Im very close to buying 2 sets of Component speakers for my 2006 Mitsu EVO. Ive never had tried this before..... usually just some seperates in the doors with 2 or 3 ways in the back. Has anyone had any experiance with this? I think it should sound good. My setup will be a Pioneer DEH-80MP...
