Well i just got the terk direct setup for my alpine 9853. And i cannot get it to recognize the xm radio when i hit source it never goes to an "XM" ive tried playing with aux in on and off and goin to that source and d-aux. Tried switching the ai-net switch on the bottom side. Anyone else hook up...
The thing is that factory amp is fairly low wattage and the wiring to it is not designed for an aftermark amp. Your preety much limited to replacing factorys and then running a new amp. According to your sig you already have a sub amp back there? What kind of wire size you have running to it...
Im guessing that may want to overpower the circuit. Reguardless you should have that circuit fuse and it'll blow if it does. But i wouldnt suggest it. Check your fuse box you should have another circuit thats available for easy taking of the power. if its possible to just fuse it there good...
Still going to need at least 4gauge and set or 2 of rcas running back there. What might be a decent idea for RCAs is to run them right down to the center console under the console then into the carpet as opposed to tryin to run them across the dash and along the sills.
Check your fuses that R/Y i believe is your illumination B+ im looking at a diagram now and fuse 1 is the B+ for that so check your fuses maybe it somehow hit ground and blew the fuse.
