When i plug my RCAs from head unit to amp it does not work when they are both in input. The amp only turns on hen i plug one in input and one in output it works and they both have to be either in the Right or Left.

A am a complete noob and I'm thinking about doing my first setup (Amp + Sub) for now. Would the Cadence Acoustic 5 channel be good enough? I just want a single 12". Reason for the 5 channel is so I can add 2 6.5's and 2 6x9 later down the road or should I be buying a mono amp + sub for now and...
