IDK much about the sub coil... but i have a memphis 500w 4ch that had a similar problem. It bumped but 1 day just crapped out. I would replace the three internal fuses but as soon as i turned the stereo on i could hear them sizzle. Luckily it's fixed now... i'm still using the same amp and it...
