Single because it only has one black and one red per sub.

I read that but my subs are single coil so would it only drop down to 2? Like they only have one red and one black each

Thanks so it should be fine to do that but im kinda confused if it will drop it to a 1ohm load or 2 ohm because the minimum my amp can handle is 2 ohm

I am just really confused about some of the terminology

This is the amp Precision Power PPI i650.1 650W Monoblock iON Series Class D Digital Amplifier

I have 2, 4ohm kicker 12in. They are placed in a dual enclosure with separate box terminals for each one. What impeadance would i get, and is it ok, that i have 4 wires coming out of the mono block amp to go to each box terminal individually. Do I need to wire them so that only 2 wires are going...

I drove around with them on half for excess amount of time and nothing happened. They both cut out when it was snowiing and below freezing

After installing 650.1 the subs are still not working they produce sound but do not move, hence the quiet noise? I am not sure what the problem is the terminals read at 4ohms

I am using the speaker level input, do i need to connect both right and left side speaker or is the right sufficient? Is it necessary to ground, if so can i ground on same spot on the chassis, for the amp ground?

Are there any safety precautions because im going to use 8? excess heat?

What about the 1000? I plan on testing the subs with multimeter tommorrow if there still good then im gonna buy 650. If not I will buy 1000 with better subs in the summer time. Again out of curiosty do you reccomend any setup to go with 1000 watt? I have 2011 Mitsubshi lancer

I Have 8 gauge wire ran for the power. Would I have to rerun all the wires?

Robot Check That is the sub + box combo im hoping that them playing quiety does not mean they are permantly dead nothing more than 200 dollars

Could you recommend a good amp then to switch too?
