    As an update, I went to my installer and he looked at my midwoofers and it turn out there is a short it the terminal lead.

    When I go all the way to the rear, I only hear the rear.

    After putting the fade in the middle, I hear the mids now in the front. How is it that a lack of power causes me not to hear them when I put the fade all the way to the front?

    When I had them installed, the wiring was done right and they were demoed with the door off and they were running pretty good at that time.

    I was messing around with the fader on my head-unit today to cut off my rear speakers to just listen to my front stage.     With the sub you showed me before, would that be best in a sealed or ported enclosure?

    I would run two subs, but don't want to give up the whole back of my cab. It was hard enough for me to convince myself to just give up one of the two jump seats for a sub. But the alpine amp should be more than enough power then?

    Cool, sounds good then. Only reason I am asking is the music I generally listed to is a more punchy bass and not really boomy. That is why I don't want to purchase the wrong size and not like the results that the sub puts out with it not being accurate, deep, and tight.
