Your battery itself wouldn't be the cause of a bad ground, but where the battery is grounded to could be the cause of a ground loop noise.

I would turn it to either flat, or better yet off if you have that option and use the head unit to control the eq.

It’s the engine to chassis one that’s hard to get to it’s only about 6 inches long and right under the engine mount on top of the strut mount. It’s small gauge too. Looks like 10 or 12 gauge to me

I understand what you're saying, but a 105 amp alternator is still only going to produce 105 amps whether you use the factory 8 gauge wire, or a bigger one going to the battery. You will never get any more power going to the battery unless you upgrade to a higher output alternator.

Not on my car, the engine to chassis ground is hidden under an engine mount that's on top of the strut mount, can't barely get a box wrench on it, and a socket wrench is out of the question, and where it connects to the chassis, only 6 inches away is in an awkward spot too.

I'm not even worried about the alternator to battery positive wire. There are debates as to whether that one helps or not. No matter what size wire for that one the alternator is still only going to put out what it's rated to put out as long as it's the size wire the car manufacturer recommends...

I don't have the time on my hands to do the whole big 3 at once. Would it hurt anything to do one wire at a time, then do another at a later date etc.?

If the speakers fit the other door speaker openings and mounting points, then they should work.

I relocated the head unit ground, and I also put plastic wire loom tubing over the RCA cables since they sit on the bare metal floor under the carpet just as a precautionary measure.

I have 14 gauge, I'll move the head unit ground to the other side of the center console frame
