You could also probably just build up a small strip of fiberglass around the inside edge until its just a bit to thick, let it dry and then sand it down to fit.

The fact is that government involvement is what causes them to make cars people don't want. If they were actually allowed to enter bankruptcy and reorganize they WOULD make cars that people want to buy because if they didn't they would go out of business. Quality is NOT really the issue...

Oh, i figured that it was designed to upshift before it reached redline. Hell, if you can reach redline in first gear then maybe an automatic WOULD be fun to drive. I can say for sure that a non turbo 2nd gen automatic RX7 would not be very fun to drive.

I am NOT necessarily saying that one "Should not go ported" because their are plenty of guys on DIYMA that are running this driver ported and loving it but they are being careful and this sub IS, in fact, the correct choice for thier application. The problem for the guy that started this thread...
