Does anyone know the URL to a website that lists every aspect of audio, and car audio. It had everything to the electricity behind it to carpeting enclosures. It even had calculators on the site to figure out reponse frequencies and such. I can't remember the site. Extremely detailed.

The average car audio system (ex running 85w/channel front stage) will not need a cap. The main reason people put them in is to power their sub amp. Take, for example a honda. Any honda with a fairly weak alternator. (OK, what the f-ck, my '89 Accord). Now, I have no system in that car, but if...

If you're referring to a regular Pioneer amp (non Premier) then I would say go with the US Accoustics.

Carpet the top, bottom, front, and back. Then, trim the sides just enough to cover an inch or two down. Then, make false sides for the box, to the same dimensions of the box. Carpet those sides, then screw them onto the side of the box, from inside the box. You won't see any sloppy carpet seems...
