    my friend purchased an orion 2500d amp, and is installing it into his chrysler LHS, he is gonna be running it on his stock 60 amp alternator. will this amp just slaughter it?

    dam# my car got jacked last night 9/17/05

    yea sme here, comps dont do anything when it comes to car shoppers. EXCEPT when tey saw a kid doing it once they ****ing tasered his *** and stuck him with an ankle braclet for 6 months haha and hes only 16. but other than that, nuttin happens when a reported burglary occurs

    Id go for eclipse titanium 15" with an eclipse amp pretty good sounding sub and then of course all your wiring and shit and yea, eclipse is nice

    Suggestions needed, on a new sub.

    One 12w7 would probablly be enough, u can get them to hit really hard with the right amp so maybe jsut get a 12w7 and a JL 1000/1

    Sub works for 2 minutes then shuts off

    Yea, jsut seems like your amp is going to protect mode, jsut dont turn it up as loud or get a new more powerful amp, if you keep shuttin it down it will eventually fry. It happened to my friend about a month and a half ago.
