I figured my problem and I am loosing power at the factory harness to the after market harness. So I am needing to run a constant directly to the battery. Could anyone give me a basically How-to? Like what all is needed, and the gauge of wire needed?

I would figure it would have a aftermarket wiring harness, as the stereo installed was aftermarket. But it was also a old Jensen Cassette AM/FM, but who knows! I have only had this truck for a couple of weeks. Is there anyway I can tell if it's a aftermarket wiring harness?

I finally got around to getting my new stereo installed! But I have a probelm. The first unit I got wouldnt power on and I have hardwired in. We thought faulty unit. I then read that the yellow and red wires on the stereo are opposite now. Yellow goes to red and red goes to yellow. Still didnt...

Okay I can wait till I get an amp... But what do you mean only a few headunits could do this? How can I tell if mine can.
