no matter how it mounts it still gives me the yellow light ive tried almost everything and before i spend 300 refurbishing it i rather sell it cheap and dump my $ into a new amp

i thought the same thing but to pay 180 for them to tell me the same thing its not worth it all he did was open it he said nothing was wrong he powered it no other lights came on .....im just frustrated with the whole thing it works in other peoples cars execpt mine that is just ridiculous

thinking about buying a Rockford fosgate T1500-1BDCP too push my 12 inch alpine type r's ....any suggestion or ratings on the amp? im reading good things about em but just want general public opinion

my amp keeps giving me power and low (yellow light) and there are no subs connected but it only happens when its in my car ....my friend sold me the amp a short while ago and it works great in his car tried it in my bros car and my neighbors car and it works ....called JL and they said get it...

power ground remote was connected and thats all i turned the car on n the power n low light came on then it went into thermal but i dont understand before my friend gave me the amp i was in his car and his system was working great

the subs weren't connected i was just testing the amp all that was connected was power,ground,remote

i have a H.O. altenator and i also have a rockford farrad i havent hooked up but i disconnected the 500/1 and the 3rd type r soon as i realized the prob

nope i got the 500/1 pushing a 3rd type r i added just for kicks the 1000/1 is pushing the other 2 type r 12`s well atleast trying to

just when i thought it was over.... the 500/1 is running perfectly but now the 1000/1 is acting up its given me power but along with it is the yellow which means low ohms and shortly after that i get thermal...so what can it possible be now the ground still ?

maybe if you read the rest of the post i also have a 1000/1 jl audio buddy so thats 1500 watts

Thanks a million times it worked i regrounded it but the best spot was towards where the spare tire goes so i had to drill a whole n used a 10 mm head bolt made sure it was sanded down to bare metal and it worked thanks again:crazy!!!!!
