i am helping this guy install a 10w7 and a 500/1 slash series amp. i was wandering what gauge wires would be best?

no. i was asking for him. he ended up not getting them because he didnt want them. so i bought them off my mom. i was starting on a 4 cf box, but looked at jl and they said. 1.5 cf per sub. so im guessing 2 subs would be a 3cf box. idk. like i said im a noob. im using a prefab box...

im nkow im a noob. no i didnt. it just gets hot. hot enough to where you can touch it, but you cant lay your hand on it for very long. it should be alright. thanks for responses guys.

i didnt wire them. i didnt install it. i believe they are wired to where it gets 3 ohms. i dont know. im not an audio genius. the guy that installed said something about the amp NOT being 1 ohm stable and that he could do something to get the subs at 3 ohms.

what do you mean? ive heard of other JL amps doing this. a kid that i go to school with has a 12w7 and a 1000 watt JL Amp and it gets hot. i was just wandering if it was a thing for JL amps to get hot or just a deffect in some amps.
