Right i had the two subs out earlier today... They both definitely have 2 2ohm voice coils each - i had the multimeter across both coils and always read around 2. It read about 0.2 when touching the needles together. So yeah, looking for the best amp for wiring @ 2 ohms!

Yeeahh something along those lines Still going to need to build a nuclear power station to power the things though. Currently i'm on single standard battery, standard alternator, standard gauge wiring....... lol, The Big Three need doing don't they :P

Well to be honest i would trust the sticker... It was put on there when the things were made. There's always user error with the multimeter. Anyway i contacted Vibe and they said that it is indeed 2ohm DVC's. So i'm looking for an amp that will provide around 600wRMS to each sub... So that...

Ahh i see... Cheers Also, the subs are 1,200rms each i believe? And it says on the box they're dual 2 ohm VC's. I've seen a few good amps about, some that will do 2400rms @ 1 ohm... Would it be okay to wire it as 1ohm? At least i'd be giving both subs all the power they need

Right... I got the multimeter out... Put one in the positive one in the negative, the multimeter was reading anything from 3.8 to 4.2 ohms... So the VC's are 4ohms presumably. But when i took the enclosure out, i saw a sticker saying the specs... It says dual 2ohm VC's. So have i got 2ohm VC's...

Yeah that's what i thought. He said he had it wired to 2ohms, so presumably the VCs are 2ohm. Is there a way to find out for sure?
