The amp is bolted down with no tension on the wires that I know of. I really have no idea why the wires came out like they did. Maybe the screws for the wires were just loose?

Thanks for the help. Sorry for being such an annoying noob, but there was no way I was going to plug this into a random input without knowing it was right.

the order from left to right goes: power, ground, p. con, component outputs its a shitty kenwood

I don't see anything that says REM or remote on the amp for my components there are inputs for: power, ground, and then something called P. CON then there's all the outputs for the components

sorry I'm a complete noob my 240 came with a sound system and I've never touched anything on the car besides performance stuff

but right now i just have this thin wire hanging out of the 4/3/2 amp i have for my sub and I have no idea where to connect it to

Ok so I'm a car audio noob and need some help my speakers died the other day but my sub kept playing. I popped the trunk and the ground wire for the amp for my components came out. Now I know that I have to plug this back in, but also another thinner wire came out of the amp for my components...

Ah, I get it now. I still don't understand the whole "tune your box" thing

The thing is though...its not the opposite side, its the same side the sub is on the passenger side and when the passenger door is open it gets really loud

How do I do that?

I have a 95 240sx with a 12" sub in the trunk on the passenger side. For some reason whenever the doors are open (especially the passenger side door) or the windows the bass gets a lot louder. Anyone know why this is/what can I do besides driving with my windows down all the time to get the...
