    I always set my gains before any eq settings are adjusted from flat.

    It is good product for the money. TMA is a division of JL audio. I have ran 3 of their amps for 4 years now and had only one problem my 500.1.

    I have had noise from one speaker, because of wire or a crossover by a factory computer.
