alright... it appears doable then... away we go..

the 4 RCA's are coming off the head unit from the front l/r and rear l/r. they have been the feed for the factory amp the past year. if i were to use either the front or the rear since they are already where the amp is what would be the difference?...

i still don't understand the compatibility issues i'm see both at crutchfield and now with Maestro AR?.. it would seem to be all in the wiring since it is a Kenwood head unit... I would think I could remove the wires from the connector going to the OEM amplifier and attach where needed?...

i have two RCA signals coming in from the head unit as it is... why don't I just tap into those?...

ok.. which of the 4 RCA ports at the head would I use?... I just realized all channels put out the same frequencies from the head unit if I understood you correctly?

this vehicle only has rear deck, door and tweeter/squawker speakers. i'm just wondering if i'll be benefiting from DSP all that much?...

so the link from the universal harness to the vehicle wiring from the head unit?... it seems I'd be simply soldering wires?...

the one you linked to on amazon comes with the maestro...

crutchfield does have this amp as not compatible with my vehicle even though it's discontinued... I don't see a reason for that?... not being compatible that is...

i think the installation of the Kenwood would be fairly straightforward... i'm not sure about the DSP programming though?...

and it even has an android interface... this must be about the lowest wattage descent 6-channel amp out there?... even though it has 8...

i'll need to look at the dayton more closely... it does seem i need the crossover...

the kenwood is a slick machine but it pulls 60a at full load... i know that's not what i'll operate it at but I've replaced my alternator with 100a up from 80a and don't really want to do it again... i need what you're talking about in something around 30amps...

i'm gonna have to look into this a little more...
