There is no FRONT aux on that particular headunit. That's aux "port" is for the Auto TA&EQ mic. See my previous answer... There should be an aux port on the backside with 3.5mm plug. Your welcome.

Make sure you've connected the ip-bus cable correctly. The one with the blue end goes to your HU and the other one, black one, goes to ip-bus out on the ub100.

Correct. Flip the switch on the HU chassis to 3-way. Why? Cross the mids from 63Hz/12db - 2.5kHz/6dB, tweets from 3kHz/12dB and the sub from 50Hz/18dB from the starters and from there you can start experimenting the settings.

The main difference between those two is the DSP. 9887 has it built in, 86 doesn't but has the option to add it as an external processor. 86 has some improvements in song searching and so forth but the main difference is described above.

Leave them at "Normal" unless you're gonna use the PXA-H100 -processor.

Fuse behind the HU? If the HUs own fuse is blown the HU wouldn't work at all.

Have you checked your HUs settings? Is the balance fader at center pos?
