Well the box to begin with would have been 1.1 cuft before modified. I cant tell exactly if he made the box bigger itself as well or if he just made the magnet relief area bigger to give me enough mounting depth for my sub. So I'd have to say 1.1 before sub displacement. possibly slightly more...

Ok, So after checking all my wiring and whatnot. I think maybe a different sub is the route I'm planning to go. I've been looking at the SSA subs, I like the Gcons but it seems they have a larger mounting depth than the Icons. I could go Icons and run them at 1 ohms and probably get around 1200...

Yes It is a downfire box. And yeah 50 is probably a bit higher than i normally listen to, 35 is probably where I'm sitting at right now for the most part daily. I could set the gains using a lower volume, but i really didn't want to limit myself much on how high I can turn everything up before...
