I'm trying to repair my amp which I am pretty sure just has a bad capacitor. I have opened it up and it looks like just one of the capacitors has burned up. If anyone has any advice or can offer any help, it would be greatly appreciated. I am also prepared to answer any questions you may have...

The two front speakers are showing an ohm load of 4.2 and the two rear speakers are showing 3.6 if this would make a difference.

Alright. It also makes a whining noise sometimes. I've noticed if I let it stay off for a while then try and turn it on it will stay on for a few minutes before cutting out

So my soundstream 600.4 is cutting out. It is powering com626's and cox622's wired to 4 ohms on each speaker. At any volume amp cuts out almost immediately after turning on car. It was working fine yesterday.

but like if my amp gives 42 volts and it is clipped wont that hurt the sub?
