    subs in 84 Mustang Convertible

I'm still in the planning phase for my 84 Mustang convertible I'm planning on using 2 10" subs (not sure on brand yet) I'm trying to figure out how to get around the convertible top when down. My car has a glass rear window that with the top down leaves very little space at the bottom of the...

I have an FBX-10 in a 1.5 ft poerted enclosure tuned to 35 hz with only 100 watts to each coil and just had it rta'd at a local shop......134 db. My official review: Excellent SPL sub, gets very loud wuth little power. sound quality, not too bad. maybe it's my setup, or the amp, but bass is...

    Power Acoustik Amp

I'm using an LT-960-4 to power a single Power Acoustk FBX-10 and Clarion 5 1/4 components and I'm VERY happy with it. The crossover settings are a little vague, but overall very worth the money (got a deal on SD, sub and amp for $220)

03 Sentra se R factory sub

I just bought (today) my first Brand new car. 2003 Nissan Sentra seR. I love this car........except the factory sub. This car has the 7 speaker system, not the Rockford Fosgate System(I think). Anyway, I will be replacing the 8" sub because it souds like it's hitting the back deck. Can anyone...

    1987 Mustang 5.0 Help

If I remember correctly, all 87-93 mustangs also had 5 1/4's in the doors. When I had my 87, I built an mdf baffle to go over the stock opening and mounted Clarion 5 1/4's (even though this was 5 years ago, they are in my beretta now, and still sound great!!) http://www.geocities.com/jcash1995...

    Sub Killing My Speakers??

I know it's a little late, But I gotta reply. I'm assuming your mustang has a trunk, not a hatch. Therefore it is always a good idea to use a baffle around your rear-fill speakers to keep the pressure from the sub from pushing your cones out. Always a good idea to use baffles especially in a...

    Quick ? about alternator

I'm getting ready to install a JBL BP600.1 and a P80.4 in my 93 beretta. Stock alternator, no power windows/locks, etc. I have already done the Big 3. If I figured this right, I need an alt that does 110 amps. Is this right? Or am I just overthinking this?

what box for my new 10" PG tiD's?

If you HAVE to do one or the other, grab the sealed. But, I just ran both combos on WinIsd, and the PG 10 would really sound great in the ported.......tuned to 30hz, not 40. VERY linear response all the way down to 35 hz with a -3 drop off at 25 hz. The sealed has a -3 at 53 hz. My final...
