    Fair trade?: 8" Kicker L7 for15" MA Audio ma150xl

The kid I got it from had it wired to 8 ohms (not knowing) so it was not getting beat up on by the amp he had it hooked to. That's why he sold it because "it was not loud". I currently have it wired @ 2ohms seeing maybe 600 watts from my apsm1300.

    Fair trade?: 8" Kicker L7 for15" MA Audio ma150xl

Hey, just seen this posting. Small world. I'm the one with the M.A. audio 15". I understand you not felling comfortable about the trade, it is Craigslist after all. But to be honest there is nothing wrong with the sub other than it being old and having little scuffs here and there. The kid I got...

    Ever heard of audiobahn AW1500Q?

Get the 2 aw1500Q and a audiopipe 15001d and you will be plenty loud, even in a trunk car. Trust me.

If you can get them for a good price jump on them. I have three of that series 10's and they get loud and clear. Don't let the name fool you. These a very good subs. If you are ever near Orlando I will give you a demo of my system.

    Splaudio's custom subs thread

Corey if there is any interest I still have two blown (ripped spiders) E8 V1 subs sitting here dieing to be built up. Let me know if you would like to make some kind of deal for them. Also the not so little 8" you built for me out of the E8 V1 motor seems like it is getting louder by the day...

Corey, I got the sub today and it looks even better in person. I can't wait to put power to it and see what she can do. Thanks again.

I wonder which motors those could be. I'm curious to see what you do with the 1 (better of the 3) I sent you. I would love to see it as an 8" but I don't think it is possible. Either way, enjoy.

Fail Install v2 (sub going haywire)

I had the same problem in my 2001 Acura. Find the stock Bose amp and it will have a factory remote wire. If it is a CL or TL the amp is located behind the trunk liner near the jack ( looking at the jack with the plastic cover removed it will be to the left). The remote wire is yellow and white.

    Displacement for 4" aero ports

Is there that much of a difference using one 6" aero port rather than two 4" aero ports?

    Displacement for 4" aero ports

Nevermind I was able to find the formula. 2x2x3.14 x10(port length) = 128.6 / 1728(convert to cubic inches) =. 072x2(2 ports)=0.145 is my port displacement with two 4" aeros cut to 10"s. This will give me a tuning of 35htz with an overall size box of 4.23 left for air space.
