I'm leaning more towards a 12". At the moment I have a ported Q-logic box for a 12. I'm going to be installing it into a Honda passport, so space really isn't an issue. I would also consider a 15 assuming there is any that can be powered by such a small amp.

I'm looking for a good SQL sub to power with a kicker kx400.1 amp. Price is not an issue and suggestions on what kind of enclosure to use are greatly appreciated.

See, I told you I was new to this whole audio thing . Here is another question, since I can't wire it to 1 ohm how would I go about wiring the sub to 4 ohms. Again, I'm sorry to be asking all these stupid questions, but I would rather ask now than ruin my equipment and ask why it happened.

I am very new to the whole car audio scene, so please forgive my ignorance. Alright, I just bought a kicker kx400 amp which has a 2 ohm impedance. My question is would it be safe to use with a kicker comp vr 12" dual 2 ohm sub? Any help is greatly appreciated.
