Yes, it is quite loud. They are excellent drivers if they are not pushed too hard. The issues most people experience are when are see over 1,000rms for extended periods. Mine are currently seeing around 500 rms each. With so many drivers, I do not need to push them very hard to reach DB's...

Its really a shame what happened to them. I currently use these in my home theater in a few passive enclosures. Just hoping other enthusiasts have some laying around that I can put to use.
