I'd recommend the Pioneers. Not sure the models...blue cones. I picked up (4) of them on eBay for about $120 shipped. These replaced some older JLw4's that were stolen. I was pretty amazed at how they sounded....especially for the price. I'm glad I didn't go with new JL's at 4 times the price.

Does the face open smoothly and quietly, without hesitation? Any scratches on the face or trim ring? What condition is the copper chassis in (any scratches, etc.)? Has the unit ever been opened? Are all the wires on back, including the antenna, in great shape with no cuts or anything? Sorry...
