    Boston Acoustics 6.5 Driver needed

No. It's the Pro Series 6.5. I think it also came in a 3 way version that year that was dubbed 6.5(3)...but I only have the 2 way. It's a great set but I need to replace one mid range driver as it blew on me. My amp wasn't configured correctly...But I'd hate to completely replace the whole...

    Boston Acoustics 6.5 Driver needed

I blew one of my drivers out of my Boston Acoustics 6.5 component set. All I need is the one driver. Anybody willing to sell one to me?? Let me know! email: iriejp1@yahoo.com

have you heard any of these mid/high-end components?

Ok...I'm an idiot. I took a better look and realized I have the Boston Pro 6.5's...not the 60's. I bought 'em like a year ago off ebay...cut me some slack...lol. So obviously disregard the part about the Bostons. I just went and listened to the Hertz again today and went ahead and bought em...

have you heard any of these mid/high-end components?

I have the Pro60's now. Great sound...but the tweet is a little bright. And I have the jumper set to the lowest setting on the crossover. And I too found the focals to be not all that impressive. They were pretty clear. But kind of shrieky if that's even a word. The JL ZR650CSi's were flat...

400 Dollars for speakers? Help plz?

BTW...I am coming off of having Boston Pros. I blew the driver. I found the tweets a little bright for my taste. But that's completely subjective. Other than that they were awesome. Very clear.

Go listen to some Hertz HSK 165's. You'll be amazed. I was...And this was after I was rolling my eyes while listening to the guy on the phone gush over them...Believe it.

    Unbridged values vs bridged backwards?

It was a long time ago...but I think it was a 3 channel and he was putting the front and rears on 2 (L/R) channels and my sub on one. It was all garbage equipment from top to bottom..but it actually worked for quite a while before I finally replaced it all. Anyways thanks...

    Unbridged values vs bridged backwards?

oh ok. But this is not common right?

    Unbridged values vs bridged backwards?

One last comment and I'll let this dead horse lie. I think this all started when a shop showed me that if I simply hook up my front and rear speakers up to the same 2 channels on an amp I could get more power to the speakers. I just wouldn't be able to use my fader on my HU. I assumed he was...

    Unbridged values vs bridged backwards?

Ahh, ok. Crystal clear now. In fact I feel silly now. That's exactly what thch was trying to tell me in his PM. That makes sense. And ya, I wasn't having any trouble understanding how the values were coming out. Thanks fopr the help. Sorry if I was frustrating you guys...=P

    Unbridged values vs bridged backwards?

I guess I'm really asking how exactly it would be wired up.....I know this is probably getting frustrating for you guys...but keep in mind I don't do this for a living like some of you. Nor have I ever installed anything on my own except maybe some speakers. So for some like me, it's not as...

    Unbridged values vs bridged backwards?

Actually I think my grasp of electronics is quite good. My grasp of bridging is where we are having trouble. So if simply running speakers in parallel is not bridging, then how would one bridge an amp correctly? Is there something that has to be done on the amp side to do this?

    Unbridged values vs bridged backwards?

Imma, I think you are getting to the crux of my issue here. I have always just assumed "Bridging" meant to run speakers in parallel (ie the positive lead from the left speaker and the positive lead from the right speaker together with the negative lead from the left and the negative from the...
