After my stereo problem i have been hearing alot about protection mode in some cars and i was wondering how i would be able to tell if mine is in the protection mode or if it is just blown up. The HU comes on but nothing plays.if its in protection mode how can i reset it. Thanks for help.

Hello. Today i was listing to my Radio, Factory Speakers with 2 10s hooked to a 600w amp. The Rear Speakers are taped into then run to a output converter then to the amp. Well i was jamming out and then everything quit. Amp went to a protective state and nothing played out of the door speakers...
