Just got a quick question. I installed my new polk mmc 6500 and now it is really hard to hear my sub. I thought it was turned off at first but I verifyed it was on. It is almost like the new comp. take away from the sub. Are there any settings I can mess with to try and blend them a ittle better.

Is a mounting baffle the same thing as a speaker ring ? I have a full woodworking shop so I am very capable of the diy part I am just not that experienced at car audio installs.

I ordered the mmc6500 momo and they will be here today. I heard them at a local audio shop and choose them over the diamond d661a and a few others. They were by far the best ones there to my ear.

well if you compare them to the polk momo they are muffled as hell. I just went this weekend because that is the pair I was going to buy but when I heard them it completly changed my mind. I heard the d661a and the d661s.

I listened to the diamond d661 and the polk momo mmc6500 and I thought the polks were better by far. The diamonds sounded almost muffled. To be honest I really liked the polk momo and I am considering buying them.Just my opinion.
