New Pioneer HU w/ HD radio: Poor HD sound quality

How about just getting a regular antenna? The sound quality I currently get just has some static, but overall sounds ok. Also could it be because I'm using an antenna adapter?

New Pioneer HU w/ HD radio: Poor HD sound quality

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can improve the reception/sound quality to meet HD(hybrid definition) standards? Would getting a new antenna help?

New Pioneer HU w/ HD radio: Poor HD sound quality

I recently bought a Pioneer DEH-5500HD, one of the reasons being that's it has HD radio. When testing out the HD Radio, I noticed some static and lack of bass when music was playing on an HD station( I know it was HD because I turned HD seek on). I know that HD radio is supposed to eliminate or...

Front speakers crackle when I put my foot on the brake

It's a brand new Head Unit (recently replaced), so it can't be that. I appreciate your input. Thank you for your response.

Front speakers crackle when I put my foot on the brake

Wow those were fast responses. Thank you. And I will mention to the store owner that it could be the wiring.

Front speakers crackle when I put my foot on the brake

Ok so here is my current setup. I currently have an Alpine 4 Channel amp powering up all my four speakers and a sub (I know it's not optimal, but I had a car audio store hook it up like that). At first I had a used Sony Xplod amp. After listening to music for about 15/20 minutes while driving...

The Pioneer GM-6500F vs Alpine MRP-f300-which one is better?

Thank you for your response. What about the power difference between the Pioneer GM 6500f and the Alpine? Would I notice the extra power put out by the Pioneer?

The Pioneer GM-6500F vs Alpine MRP-f300-which one is better?

I recently returned a refurbished Sony Xplod amp, because it made speakers crackle/pop, and now I'm in the market for a good quality 4 channel amp(not that Sony isn't good quality) to power my 4 Alpine speakers and Sony sub. I've come down to the Pioneer GM-6500F and the Alpine MRP-f300. Here...

Rear amp gain knob controls front speakers and vice versa. Please Help.

The Head Unit has one Preamp RCA Output and one Sub Preamp RCA Output (which I'm pretty sure is untouched).

Rear amp gain knob controls front speakers and vice versa. Please Help.

Is this anything to worry about? Should I just leave it like that, or could this cause any problems?

Why do my rear speakers sound louder than my front?

What about the crackling? Is it normal for the front speakers to crackle when the gain is at a high level, but not the rear speakers at the same level?

Why do my rear speakers sound louder than my front?

The one's in the back are the 6 1/2 Alpine SXE-1725S and the one's in the front are the 6 1/2 Alpine SXE-1750S. Although there are some minor differences between the two in theory one should not be louder than the other. Does anyone have any ideas?
