No. MB Quart used to make those 3-way component systems specifically for BMW's but they stopped making them. You would have to buy a 4" midrange seperately.

I'm not sure about the E46 M3, but the E36's 10 speaker system consists of a 5 1/4" in the kickpanel, a 4" and a 1" in the door, and another 4" and a 1" in the back. You may be able to find more info at this BMW Forum: http://www.dtmpower.net

The internal parts of the amplifier can come loose or break off.

Don't mount an amp to a box. The vibrations can damage the amplifier.

Is it ok to hook up the ground cable of an amp to the negative terminal of your battery? My brother took his car to Circuit City and that is what they did? We both have BMW's which have the battery in the trunk, but I hooked up my ground wire to the chassis. Thanks.

Parallel wiring is where the negative runs to every negative post and the positive runs to every positive post, right? So I would end up with a 1 0hm load, therefore be pushing about 300 watts into each sub, right???? Thanks.

Yeah, I figured someone would come out and say those. I wish those subs would have some type of design on them. I thought about the Shivas but I need some subs that look better since I will be doing a show type install. ****, tough decision.
