    Is 120 amp enough?

    Is 120 amp enough?

Im going to run a 3000 watt amp, 2800 max watt sub, and an extra battery in my hatch. My factory alternator is 90amps, and Ive never had problems with it being under powered, even in my old car (same year, different body but same drivetrain, etc) with a single 10, amp, Red Top and I abused my...

DC Level 4, single bandpass, and a battery in the trunk.

So if anyone read my previous post, I originally wanted to use my small, 10" sealed box with a Level 2, or possibly a Boston sub. Well, I changed my mind. Im going to go with a Level 4 10", in a single bandpass with an Autotek (Autoteck? Cant remember the spelling) 3000 watt amp, and a small...

Looking for SQ from a 10" in a small, sealed enclosure

I dont hate on anything without a reason, and I see no problem with JL except for the price range, which is a little more than Id like to spend.

Looking for SQ from a 10" in a small, sealed enclosure

Ill see if I can find out how long the sale is on for, I was planning on buying the gf a new set of wheels with this paycheck but if I dont have much time for the sub, then she can wait lol.

Looking for SQ from a 10" in a small, sealed enclosure

I had Boston rear deck speakers in my old car and loved em. The crutchfield price is, well, perfect ($109!) and with 375 watts rms, I wont have to spend too much on an amp. This is without a doubt in the final running.

Looking for SQ from a 10" in a small, sealed enclosure

No amp decided yet, but Id like to keep things at 1000 rms or lower. I originally thought about the Sundown E10 due to some advice, but I discovered the DC Level 3 and was smitten with it... Then a search here caused me to pause and rethink that, as the Dayton HO or TC Epic both seem to be...

Advice for a budget build, 97 GTI

As far as pricing goes, the Powerbass 2xl is more to my liking but Ive found the Image Dynamics CTX for $160 for a component set, which would leave me with some money leftover to go towards a new headunit as well. I already have a nice 10" box (dont remember the exact size of it though and I...

Advice for a budget build, 97 GTI

Id like to keep things as cheap as possible without sacrificing quality anymore than neccesary. I have 8 speaker locations in my car, 2 tweeters on the dash, which have an opening large enough to fit 3" speakers, 6.5"s in the front doors, 6.5"s with tweeters right above them in the side panels...
