Agreed. I would be very suspicious of someplace that offered that kind of deal. For $200 you're either getting junk equipment or lousy workmanship or both.

What would you consider a fair price for a two way remote start installed? The price would be with all parts and labor included. The price would include interface modules, relays and labor without regard to vehicle type. I'm not looking for a specific brand, just assume it would be a big name...

If it is a Viper 350hv, the installer could have wired your starter kill for normally open which would make it impossible to start your car without disarming from transmitter or manual override. Do you know what model it is? Do you still have the transmitter? If so, did you try pressing...
