the nav system may need a protection code to start again. on my car everytime i disconnect the battery and reconnect it i have to type in a code to use my nav system again. if you dont have any manuals you may have to call the company and get it from them using the serial number and all that.

did you check all the fuses? in the car and on the radio? i did that and fried the whole radio but i was told that was only because i didnt have fuses protecting the radio. check to see if you have any fuses and if they are blown. if no fuses you may have busted it
