Thanks for the info - if someone wants to move this thread to the head units forum, I'd be fine with that. Rip, do the mp3's sound fine as long as you turn up the volume? They seem fine on mine, I just don't like that discrepancy.

Hope this is an ok forum to post this in. Just got a Jensen VM8022 - ripped some CD albums and encoded as mp3. I then burned them to CD - when I play them on the unit, the volume is much lower than the volume of the radio (or of an original CD)- it sounds fine though, as long as I turn it up...
