any high end aftermarket system can do all that your factory system can do plus a whole lot more. honestly go aftermarket, the car manufacturers make cars thats what they do. companies like dei make security systems, think about it.

what kind of car and what year is it. just because people can wire a car doesn't mean they know anything about security. trust me, the dealers don't even know how to do it. why do you think that the dealers send their brand new cars to outside companies to have the installs done...

Use a 555u or a 556u. the f is sometimes a real pain to keep in the right spot. but the u will require a key.

use the DEI module(company that makes viper). either the 530t or the 529t. 530 does up and down and the 529 is up only. all instructions come with the mods.

I would agree, the only one to use would be a product from DEI

the 160 does not have an onboard relay for dome supervision. no viper remote start or security does. you must use a relay if you wana dome supervision. it is a 500 ma output. Also for that price, would include installation at best buy for instance. and wouldn't void any warranties.
