the easiest way to describe linear, is a speakers ability to play with minimal distortion at what ever frequency range intended.. some speakers to better then others

that is the one.. just this is black on low key looking which is what I like.. but by far the best SQ sub that I have ever owned... linear up to 1K... that's insane for an 18 IMO
