    Ya, I came to the same conclusion after extensive searching. Kenwood @ 1-ohm == disaster. Ah well, I got the amp for $120. I ended up increasing the input sensitivity to 2-volts (about 1/2) and now it sounds great! All EQ's and bass+ are set to 0.

    I know I'm kickin a decomposed horse here but.... Were you able to run this at 1-ohm? If so, rough guess at a wattage guess compared to 4-ohm?

    I just built this 1 cubic foot sealed box and I'm not getting as much punch as I had hoped for. It's an RF P3D212 sub (4-ohm to amp) and a Kenwood KAC-9104D amp. I have the sub mounted on top of thin carpet, it felt like it pulled down to seal, but maybe not? Sub rates 500 RMS, 1000 peak. Amp...
