round 3 - Tachomoeter wire for an 05 camry

The engine starts just fine, so it apparently runs for the proper duration. But the engine dies after like 20 seconds (ish), so it must be an issue with the "voltage" being to high or two low...how would I change that? They mention doing it through a bitwriter...but that's a tool that I need to...

round 3 - Tachomoeter wire for an 05 camry

meh...I've needed more help than one post bra. You don't HAVE to help me...but I do greatly appreciate that you have been. ^_^ "I installed my first alarm/remote start when I was 17 with no prior experience doing anything of the sort. " - I'm 19, with about the same amount of experience...jack...

round 3 - Tachomoeter wire for an 05 camry

My model is a Viper 4103XV, could you be slightly more specific? I'll search the manual, they mentioned it, but didn't seem to go into detail...I'll re-look it over more thoroughly or course.

round 3 - Tachomoeter wire for an 05 camry

NOW I can't find the G** D*** Tachometer wire. I've read diagrams that say under the driver side dash...well for one, that's pretty broad. If I knew what the data link connector looked like, or where it was...life would definitely be easier...any help there? as per before it is an 05 LE 4...

Iginition wire to head unit is not getting any power

Oh you have NO idea. Even disconnecting the battery and I've still gone through fuses like water. It's kind of hard to test out a new connection without the battery...you plug it back in and boom, blown fuse. You fix the connection and no problem...but go through 3 or so fuses getting to that...

    Iginition Wires not getting power

I don't believe so. The wires had power and the engine turned fine yesterday...however I had them somewhat of what I would call Jerry Rig spliced (was for a proof of concept)...when the Jerry Rig failed, and my car wouldn't start...I properly spliced them, however now it won't start at all, and...

    Iginition Wires not getting power

I don't think I've been as clear as I should. The radio works fine...my car won't turn over. The ignition and starter wires are not getting power. I hope I've been a little more clear now. If the radio didn't work...I'd be able to figure that one out...had the problem a little bit ago...simple...

    Iginition Wires not getting power

my bad my bad...rookie mistake. It's a Toyota Camry 05. And although the remote start is a Viper 4103xv, I've troubleshot it out of the problem. We're down to the simple ignition wires not getting power...nor their fuses. @Brandi, I grasp the general process...but it's kind of hard to follow...

Iginition wire to head unit is not getting any power

right...it technically isn't the ignition wire...like kinda...but it goes to the radio. So technically it's more like the wire that gives the radio power after it turns on. But I swear, I'm wiring up a remote start now...and I've blown something else...this time it's one of the regular fuses...

    Iginition Wires not getting power

I mean it has to be some sort of fuse or relay...or my father mentioned something about fusible links...but I'm not sure where they would be. I really would love some help here...just anything to get the mental juices flowing. Brainstorm with me please. thanks!

    Iginition Wires not getting power

Ok, so help me brainstorm here for a second please. I'm attempting to wire my own remote starter for my car. All went well (although frustrating) for a while. Now my ignition wires aren't getting any power and when I check the fuses (ALL OF THEM) none are blown...although the ignition fuses...

Iginition wire to head unit is not getting any power

You were right...I found the fuse and it was an easy fix.

Iginition wire to head unit is not getting any power

Right on...probably not to hard...but I mean...I've checked both fuse boxes, could it be a stray one? Like specific to that wire? I mean...I could be digging around in this car for days and not find the right fuse. The manual wasn't very helpful either.
