dual 4 ohm or dual 2 ohm voice coils?

thats what i was thinkin. more high quality brand from what ive heard plus itll run at 1 ohms to really hit the lows.

pretty sure everything is hooked up right. n i already got everything locked up for the night. ill do that tomorrow. but whats that supposed to do?

amp shuts off when i connect pos terminals to ground.

I have 2 12" Kicker L5's. dual 4 ohm vc. right now i have a 4800 watt 4 channel sycho sound deranged amp running to them. (still in process of hooking up and tuning.) my brother has a 2000 watt class D Eclipse amp that is one ohm stable i could get also. was wondering wat u guys think would hit...

so i run a wire from each pos terminal that i have the subs connected to, to the main ground on the amp? or to one of the speaker grounds?

ok it all works now. took the remotes out of the negs and left everything else the same. doesnt blow the fuse anymore. now i jus need to tune it and figure out why its puttin so much voice through the subs. and yes i have the lpf turned on.

when i try to hook the remote up to the negative terminals of the amp where i have the subs connected it blows my fuse to the radio. i have it all run jus like you said. pos to neg on 1 channel, pos to neg on 2 channel, subs to channel 3/4 and remote to neg of channel 3/4. am i doing sumthing wrong?

ok. and i jus connect one sub to each channel and dont bridge em right? sorry, ive never ran a 4 channel before so im used to being able to figure it all out with 1 and 2 channel amps. im still kinda an amatuer, so bear with me. thank you

ok, so i dont near as much about hookin up amps as i thought. lol. how do i run the subs parallel to the amp? and i have both subs run down to 2 ohms right now. Should i switch em back to 4 ohm or leave em at 2? and one thing i forgot to mention about the amp that might help is that channel 1/2...
