Well I guess I'll order me up a Mini DSP and see what I can get done. Only thing I don't like is a .9v max output. But thats what amp gain is for I guess. I'll report back once I get it working on how it went.

Agreed but the better that speaker the less tuning that must be dome. Option1 -keep the speakers I have and get a mini dap Option 2- buy Better speakers, get more dsp if needed. The Speakers I'm using are 120.00 retail.

That's pretty much what I try and tune anything that is for music listening to. But Just can't seem to get there. Which means new speakers or more processing.

Yeah and it shows similar issues outside of the car/ with the door open, ect.. Which is why I was considering other speakers. Would you move forward with that? Or buy processing. I just can't fathom not being able to get some non harsh speakers for 250.00

If you can't get good sound for 200-300 then all car audio is overpriced. I looked at the CDTs, but they seem to have hit or miss reviews. Which ones do you recommend?

I disconnected the right tweeter and panned everything to the right. Played a Cd and used an rta on my phone. Here the results. looks the the woofer is playing super high.

Im currently running the stock wires in my 99 jeep GC. I have 200 ft of SHCA speaker wire ready to run, but waiting to see about swapping speakers while Im at it.

The problem is I have measured them outside of the vehicle and the response is crap. Its not the car. Besides the right door speaker (assuming no passenger) is right on axis with my ear. I ran a track though a DAW and used all kinds of processing to try and clean them up. It wasn't happening.
