I have the 08 15 L7 and have it pushed off an AP1800.1 in a 4 cube ported box tuned to 33hz. Once you break em in they eat the power no problem. Make sure you break it in before you pit full power to it. Once mine wore in a lil not it hasn't had any smells or anything. Been thumping away for 2-3...

I got a 15 L7 in a 4cuft box tubed to 33hz in the trunk of my cavalier wit a 3000w amp on it. The amp is barely turned up. Its pretty loud for 1 sub and doesn't sound too bad. Never heard a 15 type r only a 10. The 10 did pretty good for what it was and the box it was in was pretty big too

Ok so I bought a used alpine cda 9886 on here. Installed it fine no problem. Now at random times for no apparent reason the bass goes from normal to like someone hit the bass boost or somethin n shits super powered all the sudden. I've switched rcas, checked all grounds including big 3 grounds...
