Well no word from anyone but thanks anyways. System has been delayed because I've shifted my interests a bit, but hopefully by January I should be back on the loud road. Thanks again for your help.
IMHO amp gain shouldn't cross 50% in extreme circumstances but you should try properly gain matching.
Hope these help.

Nice cross, but you may have to use the cross on the amp/s to filter the signal accordingly. The KX3 has a good line-drive so discipline yourself with the amp's gain.
As long as the batt and batt cap can discharge fast enough and your wire is thick enough to feed the amps you'll be good. The voltage would stand better with car idling and this would cause the amp to draw less current to produce needed power. You cells would also charge faster between songs. I...
Ok, so 10 awg wire is considered "huge"? I'm not trying to show anyone up but 10 awg isn't really huge. I just want to be sure we talking about the same thing here.
Well you got a list of the possible problems there. Look for loose wires and at the ground for the deck. You notice the lights on the dash blinking when speakers "pop"? Is the HU switching on/off with "pop"?
Do your checks and good luck.
The gauge you use depends on the current draw of your set. I don't support their statement of it being suitable for any set; I think 125 amps is the limit for 4awg wire.
