since the epicenter can put out selectable volts(i have mine set at 7.5v out) my sub amps can tolerate up to 8 volts rms, since the epicenter is on the same line do my highs amps also need to accept up to 8 volts pre amp?

yeah thats kind uv the only draw back to the profiles, maybe next year they'll have a 1ohm stable or a larger mono, otherwise take a look at the lanzar optidrives, also I hear the guys say a lot of good things about the hifonics amps also.

unless it says in the manual it can take a half ohm then it can't, I believe this amp is stable at 1ohm. strapped, each amp will see 1 ohm but the minimum you can use will rise to 2ohm. I say ditch the idea or you will be buying another set of amps or amp any way cause your gonna burn some...

well you could load up on two of these less than 200 bucks http://etronics.resultspage.com/display.php?w=ap1000m&p=Q&ts=dynamic&Store= that would be 2 ohm stable per amp, if your are running two 4ohm DVC's you could put one amp on each sub, or if your running a dual 2ohm dvc one...

don't do it or you'll be buying an amp, plus how the &*^% are you getting a 0.5 ohm with just 4 coils unless those subs are dual 2 ohm?! Plus that 2500d is more than enough power for those subs at 1 ohm, if you don't like what your hearing get new subs, your amp is a bad mother.

the circuit city guy is an idiot. ground all items seperate, you can run the hot through the cap but if you have an extra battery just use two seperate lines to connect the cap to the battery, then connect the amp sepereately, you will still see the benefit of the cap. BUT ALWAYS GROUND THEM...
