Those are impressive numbers and I do have a soft spot for PPI. Gotta look for how much current draw it requires and see if a stock alternator for a 2000 suburban will support it

So I read though most of that linked post of why you don't need a capacitor and I get most of it. I guess what i was hoping to see there was how exactly a second battery helps. Anyone want to take a shot at this? Also maybe a dummies guide or a line schematic of how a secondary battery would...

No, totally didnt think about changing the ground wire. I'm currently using a 1' section of 8 gauge as ground to bare metal. Guess that's an easy swap but can imagine that is the culprit. I'll Change it anyhow

Okay, finally got around to fixing all these bugs and I'm still having issues. I closed all the holes in the subwoofer enclosure, swapped the power line for 2 gage, and turned down the gains. The amp will run longer without shutting off but it still shuts off after about 25 minutes of very...
