Caps just introduce more resistance and that means more wasted energy in an already stretched electrical system.

Probably not....I am not sure what it is getting right now in this smaller sealed box. it's hooked up to a Zapco 9.0XD....so whatever it is getting, it is very clean...but i would doubt that it is getting more than about 2000watts RMS or so.
