This does happen in other industries. In televisions Sharp, Mitsubishi and to some degree Samsung and LG all do B&M dealer protected areas. How about iPods, apple doesn't just let anybody retail iPods. How about other retail markets. Try and go to Lowes and buy some craftsman screwdrivers...

The ribbon tweeter does peak my interest, but it's still sony so I'd be pretty skeptical. Infinity had a nice component set with ribbon tweeters probably 15 years ago. I think they had them in a 3way set too. So definetly nothing new but unique none the less. -Jay

I like CDT. They have alot of different 3 way sets, in good, better, best configurations. With different combonations, ie. 6" 4" tweet, 6" 3" tweet, 7" 4" tweet etc. -Jay
