i have to go against the grain and say hifonics, but they are both maxxsonics products, so i have know idea is the internals are better or worse??? i have a pair of hifonics brutus woofers, and so far they rock!!!

so i recently purchased as pair of hifonics brutus 12's, ive been running them for about a month or so and now one of them is making a buzzing noise?? kinda like its blown?? but if i unscrew it from the box with it still hooked up it doesnt???? anyone have any ideas????

well the subs are rated 600rms, so i suppose 1000-1200watts @ 1ohm... i was lookin at the hifonics hfi1000.1d or the brutus 1200.1d???? both are under 200

i just acquired 2 hifonics brz12d4 subs and was lookin for some guidance on amp choices. this is going to be a budget build so im not trying to blow the bank... im willing to spend 200 tops... thanks in advance

when you say blew, do you mean it doesnt play?? or the foam surround has tore??

i have two 12w3v2's with blown surrounds, and im also skeptical about repairing them myself.... if you do it, deff. post pics please!!!!! good luck bro:D
